On-demand design for excavator attachments
Attachments for excavators have to fit the carrier machine exactly. The front end of the stick is not standardised here: every make and weight class comes with its own connection geometry.

Setup
Almost every manufacturer works with its own pin spacings and diameters, and even within a single brand, weight classes differ. If you want to use attachments such as buckets or quick couplers across an entire fleet, you face a connection problem. With many variants and irregular demand, engineering design on demand is more economical than a permanent position.
Assignment
The arm end, pin spacing and diameter were specified; on this basis, 3D models were created and checked for clearance, feasibility and manufacturing specifics. After coordination and approval by the client, the production documents were prepared, going directly as DXF files to laser cutting. Beyond this work, the design of complete excavator buckets was also commissioned, ranging from skeleton buckets to general-purpose buckets.
Result
Attachments can be offered for practically any excavator type. Since 2018, over 140 vehicle-specific attachment projects and more than 1000 engineered components have been completed.
